NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24
Douglassville, PA – April 25, 2020 – Total Living Care has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for more than six years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Committed to helping, Total Living Care has supported 13 cancer patients, with a total donated value of $3,665 in cleanings.
Owner Pam Fesko wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning for a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive the gift of a clean home.
“I love giving back to my community through Cleaning for a Reason,” said Fesko. “I have met some amazing cancer patients and feel honored to be able to lift a little weight off their shoulders. During this coronavirus pandemic, we have been taking extra steps to clean, sanitize, and disinfect. As an essential business, we are helping to make homes clean, healthy, and safe for both our clients and especially cancer patients. All staff wear masks and gloves during cleanings.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Total Living Care cleans two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Berks and parts of Montgomery and Chester counties.
