A Greener Clean Celebrates Five Years of Supporting Cancer Patients

Starkville, MS – September 25, 2026 – A Greener Clean, LLC, a family-owned residential and commercial cleaning company has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason since 2021 to provide complimentary professional home cleaning services to local cancer patients and their families.
“Many families have had cancer battles to deal with, which is stressful,” said Rhonda Jones, owner of A Greener Clean, LLC. “It is an honor to help alleviate that stress and clean and sanitize a home for someone fighting cancer. Recipients typically receive a three-hour clean. Having had several close family members fight cancer, it is meaningful to provide this service to someone undergoing treatment. We can also use products with no scent, which is helpful since fragrances can often make a cancer patient feel nauseous. We look forward to serving many more cancer patients in the years to come.”
Since beginning the partnership, A Greener Clean, LLC has supported 13 cancer patients, providing donated cleaning services valued at approximately $5,000 to help ease the burden on individuals and families navigating cancer treatment.
Through the partnership, A Greener Clean, LLC supports up to two cancer patients each month, providing each patient with two consecutive months of complimentary home cleaning services. Eligible cancer patients must reside within Starkville or Oktibbeha County.
As Cleaning for a Reason celebrates 20 years of supporting cancer patients, partnerships with dedicated cleaning companies like A Greener Clean, LLC continue to extend the organization’s reach and bring practical support directly into the homes of families facing cancer.
Cancer patients of any age, gender, or type of cancer can apply to receive complimentary home cleaning services through Cleaning for a Reason at cleaningforareason.org.
