Ingrid’s Team Donates Cleanings to Greater Boston Cancer Patients

Woburn, MA – September 30, 2026 – For Ingrid Sampaio, building a successful business in the United States has always been about more than creating a career. Today, she is paying that kindness forward by helping local families facing cancer.

Through its partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason, the company is also providing free home cleaning services to local cancer patients and their families. “I received kindness and support when I was building a new life in this country, and today I’m grateful that Ingrid’s Team can pass some of that kindness on to other families in their hour of need,” said Sampaio. |
A Clean Home Can Bring Comfort During Cancer Treatment
Since partnering with Cleaning for a Reason in 2024, Ingrid’s Team, LLC has supported 18 cancer patients, donating $9,265 in cleaning services.
The company supports up to two cancer patients each month with two consecutive months of complimentary cleaning services. The program is available to cancer patients throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities, including Woburn, Cambridge, Somerville, Waltham, Medford, and Lexington.
For families navigating cancer treatment, the practical support can make a meaningful difference.
“Throughout my husband’s cancer treatment, there have been appointments, caregiving responsibilities, work, and the everyday things that don’t stop because of illness,” shared Jen Lennon. “Having your team come in to clean gave us one less thing to worry about during an incredibly overwhelming time. Coming home to a clean house brought calm and normalcy when we needed it most. It may seem like a small thing, but when your family is going through something like this, having someone step in and take something off your plate means more than we can express.”
Sampaio said the partnership allows her team to provide meaningful support to families while giving back to the community that supported her when she was building a new life in the United States.
“Through Cleaning for a Reason, we can support cancer patients and their families in a very human way. Even one visit gives us the opportunity to bring a little comfort, dignity, and care into someone’s home during an incredibly difficult time.”
As Cleaning for a Reason marks two decades of impact, local partnerships such as the one with Ingrid’s Team, LLC continue to extend the organization’s reach and bring practical support to families facing cancer.
