Staples Advantage Program Sees $20,000 Go to Cleaning For A Reason
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 9, 2013 /CNW/ – Staples Advantage Canada (the Business-to-Business Division of Staples) has contributed $20,000 to Cleaning For A Reason – a charity that offers free cleaning services to women undergoing cancer treatment. The contribution was the result of a month long campaign in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month which saw $1 per order of select cleaning products purchased from Staples Advantage go to the non-profit organization.
As a result of the donation made by Staples Advantage in partnership with its vendors, 50 patients will be served, resulting in 200 professional cleanings over a 4-month period for women who are undergoing cancer treatment.
“Cleaning For A Reason is a charity that gives back to those who need it most,” said Michael Zahra, President of Staples Advantage Canada. “We are proud to contribute to an organization that is focused on the well-being and recovery of women battling cancer.”
