Simply Relax Cleaning Services Supporting Cancer Patients

Chester, VA – February 3, 2022 – Simply Relax Cleaning Services, LLC has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleaning to cancer patients. Owner Sarah Webster is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“My mother had esophageal cancer,” said Webster. “I’m thrilled to donate these cleanings as a tribute to my mom, Linda Hoffman. I took her many times to her treatments. It was devastating to watch her get drained physically and mentally. If we can help a cancer patient ‘relax just a little bit’ and focus instead on healing and loved ones, then we’ve done our job.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Simply Relax Cleaning Services supports two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Chester and the surrounding areas, including Colonial Heights, Prince George, Hopewell, and Dinwiddie.
Said Webster, “We are currently donating cleanings to a family whose six-year-old is battling DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a brain tumor that is highly aggressive and difficult to treat. When going through treatments, these families should be spared worrying about cleaning their home. I’m grateful that our business can provide this support so that the family can focus on much more important things.”
