Cancer Patients Supported by 3rd Hand Cleaning and Painting

Quincy, MA – January 5, 2022 – 3rd Hand Cleaning and Painting has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owner Gina Guglielmi has a passion for supporting local families through home cleanings and is eager to do exactly that for cancer patients.
“Upon meeting Debbie Sardone, founder of Cleaning for a Reason, I was inspired by her amazing success story,” said Guglielmi. “I truly felt compelled to be part of such a wonderful opportunity and wanted to do my part to help cancer patients in need. I also want to donate cleanings to honor my dad, uncles, and an aunt, who all passed from cancer. I remember what it was like to take care of them and how difficult it was for each of their households to keep up with daily chores. There’s no doubt that cancer patients truly need a 3rd hand of support.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, 3rd Hand Cleaning and Painting supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing up to five miles outside the 02171 zip code.
All safety protocols are mandatory based on CDC recommendations:
• Social distancing is strictly adhered.
• All cleaning cloths are color coded and dedicated to prevent cross contamination.
• Masks are worn as requested.
