9Round of Flower Mound will host its annual kick event, Thursday, October 12. For each kick thrown, the club will donate a penny to Cleaning For A Reason, a Lewisville-based nonprofit.
“We are excited to be able to host the 6th annual Kick Event at 9Round Mound once again this year to benefit Cleaning For A Reason, said owner, Brian Taylor.” “This organization does such an amazing, selfless work for women battling cancer, and it is our honor to help aid in their efforts. We tallied almost 130,000 kicks last year, and I am hoping we can exceed that goal at this year’s event. Please come out and help us “kick” cancer to the curb!”
This free event is open to the public. Membership and purchase is not necessary. For non-members, 9Round will give a penny for each kick off of enrollment fees.
“Cleaning For A Reason is so grateful to 9Round for their support. It allows us to continue to extend our reach to provide more women with the gift a clean home during this challenging time in their life,” said executive director, Lynn Frankenfield.
Nationwide, 9Round clubs across the country have a goal of 25 million kicks, which works out to $250,000 benefiting local charitable organizations.
