Mother Scrubbers, LLC Donates the Gift of a Clean Home to Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Syracuse, NY – December 16, 2025 – Mother Scrubbers, LLC, a locally owned and independent cleaning company, is proud to announce its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free professional home cleaning services to cancer patients undergoing treatment, following surgery, and in hospice care.
“My commitment to this cause began when I saw a local neighbor in desperate need of cleaning help while her husband was hospitalized with cancer,” shared Shawna Babcock, owner and founder of Mother Scrubbers, LLC. “It immediately pulled on my heartstrings, and I found myself asking, ‘How can I make this happen for them?’ Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason allows Mother Scrubbers to turn that desire to help into action on a larger scale. It is an honor to provide these families with a clean, chemical-free sanctuary so they can focus entirely on their health, recovery, and being together.”
In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Mother Scrubbers will provide free services to two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months. The company will serve cancer patients in Syracuse and the surrounding suburbs, primarily on the east side of the city, offering free professional cleaning that helps families maintain comfort, dignity, and a healthier environment during challenging times.
