Whole House Healing Supports Cancer Patients with Clean, Healthy Homes

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Ankeny, Iowa – October 30, 2026 – For Monissa Golic, owner of independently operated Whole House Healing, cleaning is about more than a tidy home. Through a new partnership with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason, she’s turning that everyday service into an act of compassion, offering free home cleanings to local cancer patients and their families.
“After losing my sister, Sonya, to cancer, this cause became deeply personal to me,” shared Golic. “I saw how cancer affects the whole family and how everyday responsibilities can become overwhelming. I can’t take away what someone is going through, but I can help make their home feel more comfortable and give them one less thing to worry about so they can focus on treatment, rest, recovery, and time with loved ones. Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason gives me a meaningful way to support families in my community while keeping my sister’s memory alive.”
Through the partnership, Whole House Healing will provide complimentary cleaning services to two households each month. Each selected household will receive one cleaning per month for two consecutive months, offering practical support during an especially demanding time.
The donated services are available to cancer patients living in Ankeny, Bondurant, Altoona, Murray and Osceola.
As Cleaning for a Reason celebrates 20 years of impact, partnerships like the one with Whole House Healing demonstrate how local businesses can make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families.
