Local Company Hosts Cleaning for Cancer Week, October 18-22

HUDSON PROPERTY SERVICES MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Locust, NC – October 7, 2021 – Hudson Property Services, LLC will be hosting their first annual Cleaning for Cancer Week, October 18-22, 2021, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During this special week, the company will be donating house cleaning services to two cancer patients in Stanly County. Hudson Property Services performs charitable cleanings in partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit they have worked with since 2019.
“Since partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, I’ve realized how many cancer patients in our community need support,” said Jennifer Hudson, President of Hudson Property Services. “I see firsthand the battle they go through. Cancer treatment takes every bit of strength from them and then they have to worry about cleaning their homes. We are a small company eager to make a difference one home at a time. Cleaning is very laborious and time consuming. To help patients focus on healing as opposed to cleaning, that’s the service I want to provide to every cancer patient that comes my way. We are honored to make a difference for cancer households by doing what we do best.”
Cleaning for a Reason connects with over 1,200 maid services throughout the United States and Canada, providing free house cleaning services to families battling cancer. Cleaning for a Reason fulfills its mission because of the people and companies that support it. There are four ways to participate with this important cause:
1. Nominate: If any cancer patient you know in the United States or Canada is currently receiving treatment, recovering from surgery, or in hospice care, please nominate them, with their permission, to have their house cleaned by a Cleaning for a Reason partner. Any adult or child in active cancer treatment is eligible. The online application can be completed by the cancer patient, a patient navigator, family member, or friend at cleaningforareason.org, Patients tab. Cancer patients residing in Stanly County may request for Hudson Property Services to clean their home.
2. Partner: More cleaning partners are needed. Residential cleaning companies are instrumental in helping Cleaning for a Reason make a positive impact.
