Virgilio founded HTD Cleaning Services in 2018 after deciding she was not ready to retire. What began as a small service cleaning three homes a month has grown into a company serving more than 300 homes each month throughout the area.

Virgilio said one recent compliment especially stood out. After HTD technicians cleaned for a recurring client, pest-control technicians visiting the home told the client it was the cleanest house they had ever treated.

Community service also is important to Virgilio. HTD Cleaning Services partners with Cleaning for a Reason, donating two free cleanings to patients undergoing cancer treatment. As a cancer survivor, Virgilio said the service is deeply personal and rewarding.

Before building her cleaning company, Virgilio spent 20 years in corporate management and worked for Volusia County Corrections as a corrections officer. In her spare time, she enjoys creating art and values the structure she learned from her military family.
