The Cleaning Authority Smyrna Joins Forces With Cleaning For A Reason To Better The Lives Of Women With Cancer.
Smyrna, TN –September 2012 – There are tons of cancer research organizations out there. However, none help women at ground zero, when they are at home and do not have the strength to do anything but watch dust pile up in their house. The Cleaning Authority Smyrna partnered with Cleaning For A Reason to help women in need by cleaning their homes for free. Studies have shown that a clean environment is the best environment for cancer patients.
The Cleaning Authority Smyrna has agreed to clean two homes a month for four consecutive months. “To own a business in the service industry that can help women going through cancer treatment is a privilege”, says Wylie McNair, Owner of The Cleaning Authority Smyrna. “If we can be there to help in a small way and brighten their day, it makes us all feel good and our employees love to do this.”
Cleaning For A Reason recruits maid services in the United States and Canada to provide house cleanings for free. Since 2011, Cleaning For A Reason has increased from 800 partners to over 1,000 partnered maid services. Since 2010, Cleaning For A Reason has donated $1.3 million worth of cleanings to more than 4,600 women. Since Cleaning For A Reason’s founding in 2006, Cleaning companies that have joined Cleaning For A Reason have donated over $2.6 million in free services to more than 10,000 women with cancer.
