Bella Pulizia Cancer Survivor Celebrates 5 Years Supporting Cancer Patients

APRIL IS CLEANING FOR A REASON MONTH FOR 20-YEAR CHARITY
Inland Empire, CA – April 1, 2026 – April is Cleaning for a Reason month, and this nonprofit is celebrating 20 years of providing free professional cleaning services to cancer patients. Bella Pulizia, a family-owned residential and commercial cleaning company, is proud to celebrate five years of partnership with Cleaning for a Reason. Over that time, the company has personally donated professional cleaning services valued at $8,195, bringing comfort and peace to 29 local cancer patients.
“Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason is deeply meaningful to me because it allows me to use my skills to support people during a very difficult time in their lives,” said Misty Hamby, CEO of Bella Pulizia and a seven-year breast cancer survivor. “I know firsthand the fatigue and emotional weariness that comes with cancer. When I was ill, two ladies came to clean my home, and it was such a tremendous help. That experience inspired me to give back and provide other cancer patients with the same relief and comfort.”
Her passion for giving back shines through every cleaning. Hamby adds, “What attracted me to Cleaning for a Reason is the opportunity to bring comfort and peace to those who may not have the energy to maintain their homes. A clean and calm environment can make a real difference in someone’s well-being. Being able to give back to my community in this way is truly an honor, and I’m thrilled to pay it forward during Cleaning for a Reason month and all year long.”
The impact of Bella Pulizia’s services resonates deeply with patients. Sherry Gumm, a recipient of donated cleanings, shared, “Having my home professionally cleaned lifted a huge weight off my shoulders while I was going through cancer treatment. It allowed me to focus on resting and healing. Knowing that Bella Pulizia’s service brought me comfort and peace during such a difficult time meant the world.”
Through this ongoing partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Bella Pulizia provides two cancer patients’ homes each month with two consecutive months of free professional cleaning. These services are available to cancer patients of any age, gender, or type of cancer residing in the Inland Empire.
