A Step Above N Beyond Celebrates Three Years of Cleaning for Cancer Patients
Summerville, SC – May 13, 2020 – A Step Above N Beyond Cleaning Service, Ltd. Co. has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for three years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Since 2017, A Step Above N Beyond has helped a total of 28 cancer patients with a donated value of $5,274 in cleanings.
“I am humbled by the opportunity to make a difference for cancer patients,” said owner Angela Gammon. “Every patient has shown great courage and endurance as they go through treatment. During this COVID-19 crisis, we are taking extra steps to clean, sanitize, and disinfect. We are helping to make homes clean, healthy, and safe for our clients, especially the cancer patients as they recover at home. All staff wear masks and gloves during cleanings and practice social distancing in the home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, A Step Above N Beyond cleans two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service for cancer patients residing in Summerville and the surrounding areas, including Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, and Charleston.
