Domestic Divas Cleaning Services Celebrates 10 Years of Supporting Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY CONTINUES MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Greater Lansing, MI – August 21, 2026 – Based in Williamston, Michigan, Domestic Divas Cleaning Services, LLC is celebrating 10 years of supporting cancer patients through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason. Since joining the nonprofit in 2016, the company has provided free home cleanings to 30 cancer patients, with donated services valued at $11,580.
“In 2012, I lost my brother-in-law to cancer,” said Lainie Buckles, owner of Domestic Divas Cleaning Services. “Our community surrounded my family with love and support during that difficult time. Through Cleaning for a Reason, we’ve been honored to pay that kindness forward for the past 10 years. Providing a clean home gives patients one less thing to worry about so they can focus on their health and the people they love. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to helping many more families in the years ahead.”
Cancer patient Erin Morrison experienced that support firsthand: “We were lucky to have Domestic Divas clean our home twice through Cleaning for a Reason while I was having breast cancer treatment. Lainie and her team were amazing and did such a wonderful job. Knowing I was coming home on those chemo days to a clean house was such a relief. Thank you for everything.”
Through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Domestic Divas Cleaning Services provides free home cleanings for up to two cancer patients each month in Greater Lansing and surrounding communities. Each patient receives two complimentary cleanings—one cleaning per month for up to two months—helping patients spend less time worrying about household chores and more time focusing on treatment, recovery, and their families.
As Cleaning for a Reason celebrates 20 years of impact, partnerships like this continue to expand its reach nationwide, bringing practical support and hope to thousands of cancer patients across North America.
