HOMEMAID JOINS CLEANING FOR A REASON TO HELP THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
Quincy, WA – October 23, 2013 – HomeMaid has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit foundation. This brand new residential service is ready to give back to their community in Quincy, WA, and provide not only a reliable cleaning service, but also a “compassionate, caring, and committed service” for their clients. The locally owned service is an official member of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI), which means that they are always up-to-date on the latest cleaning techniques. Now that they are also part of a foundation focused on helping women with cancer, they can use their skills to provide “a clean environment in which to recover.”
Ritchie Hansen, owner of HomeMaid, personally wants to help the fight against cancer to honor his mother, whom he lost to breast cancer just last year. Through HomeMaid’s affiliation with Cleaning For A Reason, he is hoping to “provide a service that would relieve some of the burden” that cancer treatments cause and has agreed to provide this service to two homes per month for four consecutive months, free of charge for the patient going through cancer treatments in the Quincy area.
Cleaning For A Reason strives to aid women who are battling cancer by teaming up with cleaning services across the United States and Canada. Together, these two forces offer free maid services to meet the needs of women, and since 2006 have donated up to $3,600,000 worth of free services. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason has been able to work with more than 1,000 residential cleaning services and continues to grow and gain support.
