Your OCDiva Offers Their Talents To Alleviate Some Stress from Women Battling Cancer

YOUR OCDIVA TEAMS UP WITH CLEANING FOR A REASON TO OFFER FREE HOUSECLEANINGS TO WOMEN WITH CANCER
Chandler, AZ – October 9, 2013 – Your OCDiva has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit foundation. Your OCDiva originally opened for business in Salt Lake City, UT, back in 2011 and currently operates in Chandler, AZ. Kathryn Watkins, owner of Your OCDiva, has always had a talent in organization and cleaning and to her “being clean and organized meant she could relax and enjoy other things in life.” Being able to offer this talent to others and bring pleasure to their lives is exactly what she had hoped for her company and now in 2013, she will be offering the same pleasure to women who are battling cancer.
When asked about why she decided to affiliate her company with Cleaning For A Reason, Watkins states, “the pressures of being a wife, mother, friend, career-woman, etc., can get overwhelming. Adding a life-threatening illness on top of that is just too much.” She believes a clean home is one thing these women shouldn’t have to worry about and therefore has agreed to clean two homes per month for four consecutive months, free of charge to alleviate the stress that would be so “detrimental to the healing process.”
Cleaning For A Reason strives to aid women who are battling cancer by teaming up with cleaning services across the United States and Canada. Together, these two forces offer free maid services to meet the needs of women, and since 2006 have donated up to $3,600,000 worth of free services. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason has been able to work with more than 1,000 residential cleaning services and continues to grow and gain support.
