Wichita Falls, TX (KFDX/KJTL) — July 11, 2025 – A Wichita Falls-based cleaning service has partnered with a nonprofit to provide free house cleanings to cancer patients.
Heather Jones founded Sunshine Cleaning Company with a simple mission: to help people breathe a little easier.
“This isn’t just a cleaning company—it’s a way to support people when they need it most,” Jones said.
Jones has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit across the United States and Canada that provides free house cleaning services to those undergoing cancer treatment.
“A clean home offers comfort, peace of mind, and a healthier environment—especially important for cancer patients whose immune systems may be compromised,” Jones said. “By partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, we’re expanding our reach and using our skills to serve those facing one of life’s toughest battles. We are honored to give back in this way and bring relief to those navigating cancer treatment.”
Sunshine Cleaning Company will donate professional cleaning services to two cancer patients for two months at no charge. These services are available to cancer patients in Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas, including Iowa Park, Lakeside City, Cashion Community, Burkburnett, Holliday, and Sheppard Air Force Base.
Families with cancer patients of any age, gender, or type can apply for free home cleaning at cleaningforareason.org/patients.
