Sunshine Cleaning Company Brightens Homes of Cancer Patients

Wichita Falls, TX – June 30, 2025 – Sunshine Cleaning Company is proud to announce its new partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free house cleaning services to cancer patients across the United States and Canada.
Founded by Heather Jones, Sunshine Cleaning Company began with a simple mission: to help people breathe a little easier. “As a working mom, I knew how overwhelming it could be to juggle work, kids, and trying to keep a clean, comfortable home,” said Jones. “I remember nights where the laundry was piling up, dishes were in the sink, and all I wanted was an extra set of hands—or just a break. That’s when I realized that if I felt this way, I wasn’t alone.”

By joining Cleaning for a Reason’s network of cleaning partners, Sunshine Cleaning Company becomes part of a growing movement committed to making life a little easier for cancer patients—one clean home at a time.
Through this partnership, Sunshine Cleaning Company will donate professional cleaning services to two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months—completely free of charge. Services are available to cancer patients residing in Wichita Falls and surrounding areas, including Iowa Park, Lakeside City, Cashion Community, Burkburnett, Holliday, and Sheppard Air Force Base.
Families with a cancer patient of any age, gender, or cancer type can apply for free home cleaning at cleaningforareason.org/patients.
