Merry Maids of Central NJ Renews Cancer Patient Support

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY REJOINS CLEANING FOR A REASON
Perth Amboy, NJ – June 27, 2025 – Merry Maids of Central New Jersey is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free house cleaning services to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. After initially supporting the cause from 2016 to 2020, the company has officially resumed its participation as of June 25, 2025.
“We are excited to resume our participation in Cleaning for a Reason,” said Steve Rosenzweig, President of Merry Maids of Central New Jersey. “Many of us at the company have been touched personally or know someone who has been impacted by cancer. We are humbled to play a role in our community by providing a helpful service and improving the lives of those in need. Giving cancer patients one less thing to worry about—especially during such a difficult time—is something we are honored to do.”
Through its renewed partnership, Merry Maids of Central New Jersey will donate cleaning services to two cancer patients per month for two consecutive months. These complimentary cleanings are available to anyone undergoing cancer treatment in Middlesex, Somerset, or Union counties. Interested patients of any age, gender, or type of cancer can apply at cleaningforareason.org.
