New York, NY – March 20, 2021 – A local cleaning company continues to make a difference for cancer patients because they understand what it takes to wipe out cancer. Strictly the Best Cleaning Services, Corp has teamed up since May of 2019 with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning.
“We contacted Cleaning for a Reason because one of the owners of the company was successful in beating her battle with cancer,” said owner Sharon Amsterdam. “Some of our employees also have family members who are battling or have survived cancer. We understand the physical and emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis and the need to feel supported. Cleaning for a Reason is a wonderful way to give back to cancer patients who can surely use a helping hand.”
Since 2020, Strictly the Best Cleaning Services has donated home cleaning services to 38 cancer patients at a total donated value of $8,340 in cleanings. Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Strictly the Best Cleaning Services provides cleanings for up to 15 cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service for cancer patients residing in the five boroughs of New York City.
Said Amsterdam, “Even before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, our cleaners were required to wear PPE gear. We aim to keep both our clients and staff safe by following all CDC guidelines, including use of an EPA-approved disinfectant.”
