Status Glo Cleaning Continues to Sparkle Homes and Lift Spirits for Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY CONTINUES MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Knoxville, TN – January 14, 2025 – Status Glo Cleaning, LLC remains a proud and committed partner of Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free professional home cleanings to individuals undergoing cancer treatment across the United States and Canada. What began as a partnership rooted in compassion has grown into a sustained commitment to easing the burden faced by local cancer patients and their families.
Since joining the Cleaning for a Reason network in 2022, Status Glo Cleaning has donated cleanings to 23 cancer patients, delivering services valued at $10,475. Each visit represents more than a clean home—it offers comfort, dignity, and peace of mind during an incredibly challenging season of life.

“For us, this partnership is about caring for people in a tangible, meaningful way,” said owner Natalya Smith. “When we complete a cleaning for a cancer patient and see the relief and gratitude on their faces, it reinforces why we do this work. A clean, healthy home can be restorative. It creates a sense of calm and comfort, and if we can help make someone’s journey a little lighter, then we’re doing what we’re called to do.” |
Through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Status Glo Cleaning provides free cleanings to two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months, serving individuals and families in Hardin Valley, West Knoxville, and North Knoxville.
Cancer survivor Richard Saudargas shared his experience: “We came across Status Glo Cleaning because they are associated with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit that provides free cleanings for cancer patients. Status Glo Cleaning did such a superb job that we have been using them ever since. We never thought we’d need a house cleaning service, but the extra time we have is well worth it. The staff are trained, given additional workshops, and provide a checklist of what is done at the end of each cleaning. We couldn’t be more satisfied.”
To further illustrate the impact of these donated cleanings, another household affected by cancer, John and Paula Wick, shared their gratitude: “Shelby and Brilye came yesterday afternoon. They were amazing! Compassionate and willing hard workers who take pride in their work. I had to cry several times at just getting such needed help. It is amazing how good and hopeful it makes you feel to have a clean home! God bless you all. Thank you very, very much.”
