Spring Into Clean Donates House Cleaning to Cancer Patients

Oakland, CA – August 18, 2021 – Local company Spring Into Clean has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, an international nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleaning. Husband and wife owners Fitzgerald Lee and Amber Robbins understand that cancer patients have to prioritize their health and wellness and will need help to manage the household chores.
“We’ve experienced how cancer can affect the lives of our own families,” said Lee. “We understand that a clean home has a lot of health benefits, especially when you are immune-compromised and prone to infection. The gift of cleaning means that cancer patients can focus on their health and family, while we take care of the home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Spring Into Clean assists cancer patients by cleaning three homes per month with two-hour cleanings for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville.
Said Robbins, “We have a deeply emotional connection to Cleaning for a Reason’s mission. Partnering with this nonprofit is our commitment to support local cancer households by doing what we do best.”

Spring Into Clean is a local family business created in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Fitzgerald Lee and Amber Robbins.
