Shabizzy Bee Cleaning Makes a Beeline for Cancer Patients

Pass Christian, MS – June 29, 2021 – Shabizzy Bee Cleaning has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owners Sarah and Wali Shabazz understand how a cancer diagnosis can affect a person and the importance of being supported when battling the disease.
“We were eager to join Cleaning for a Reason as we have had so many people in our lives—from children to adults, to family members and friends—battle different forms of cancer,” said Sarah Shabazz. “We know all too well the physical and emotional toll cancer can take. Being able to help others in this capacity is the best reward. We are honored to serve and support in their hour of need.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Shabizzy Bee Cleaning supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service for cancer patients residing in Harrison and Hancock Counties.
Said Wali Shabazz, “We’re thrilled to be providing a clean, safe, healthy home for local cancer patients. When undergoing treatment, cancer patients are fatigued, immune compromised, and in the fight of their lives. We are eager to ease their burden and allow them to focus on their health and family.”
