Amarillo, TX – August 19, 2020 – Scents of Pride Cleaning Co. has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owner Barbara Pierson is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“It is wonderful to be in a position to help people who are hurting and afraid in a way that will dramatically and directly affect their sense of well-being and joy,” said Pierson. “During this COVID-19 crisis, we are cleaning for the health of all of our clients. When cleaning in a home, we are following CDC guidelines by using an EPA-approved disinfectant, wearing masks and gloves, and practicing social distancing. Our company motto is ‘Healthy Cleaning for a Healthier Life’ and at no time is that more applicable than now.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Scents of Pride Cleaning Co. supports two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Amarillo and the surrounding areas within 30 miles.
