NWMO Freshworks Donates House Cleaning to Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
St. Joseph, MO – February 3, 2023 – NWMO Freshworks, a local cleaning company, has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization providing free house cleaning to cancer patients in the United States and Canada. Owner Tonya McCrea has named her charitable cleaning services “Whitney Kates Clean” in honor of her late niece Whitney, who passed away from a brain tumor.
| “This partnership is coming from my heart as I miss my niece Whitney, my twin sister’s daughter, who died from diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a highly aggressive brain tumor that is difficult to treat,” said McCrea. “Whitney was a giving and loving 10 year old when she passed away three years ago. She was a helper and always thinking about how to make anyone feel good. I started this partnership to honor Whitney’s memory and to help families affected by cancer, like our own. We will not only clean a home for a cancer patient, but also help with laundry. Please help us spread awareness to families that can use this support.” |  |
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, NWMO Freshworks supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in St. Joseph.
