Mrs. K’leaning USA Continues a Meaningful Commitment to Cancer Patients

Boca Raton, FL – April 22, 2026 – In recognition of Cleaning for a Reason Month this April, Mrs. K’leaning USA proudly continues its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free home cleaning services to cancer patients. Since joining the program six months ago in October 2025, the family-owned residential cleaning company has already made a tangible difference—serving six cancer patients with donated cleanings valued at $2,630.
Led by owner Katia Costa, Mrs. K’leaning USA is grounded in a mission that goes beyond spotless homes. It is a commitment rooted in compassion, community, and personal connection.
“My connection to this cause is deeply personal,” said Costa. “My grandmother, Etelvina Rusa Berna, bravely fought cancer in Brazil and passed away in 1999, just two months before my wedding—where she was meant to stand beside me. In her honor, I joined Cleaning for a Reason to support others facing this journey with dignity and care.”

Through this ongoing partnership, Mrs. K’leaning USA provides two local cancer patients each month with two consecutive months of complimentary professional home cleaning. Serving residents across Broward and Palm Beach Counties, these services help relieve the physical and emotional burden of maintaining a home during treatment—allowing patients to focus on healing.
