Springfield, IL – January 14, 2020 – Military Sherry’s Cleaning Company has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owners Stan and Michelle Clow are committed to making a difference for families in the community and want to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“Military Sherry’s Cleaning Company has experience working with individuals with cancer,” said Shala Clow, office manager. “Because of this experience, we understand that cancer can affect their everyday lives, making the smallest tasks difficult. We are eager to assist patients during this difficult time. We believe that ‘God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.’ Hebrews 6:10.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Military Sherry’s Cleaning Company supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Sangamon County and the surrounding area.
Owner Michelle Clow emphasized, “In addition to our high-quality service, our employees are practicing all of the CDC guidelines related to the proper disinfection of a client’s home during this coronavirus pandemic. We are heightening our standards of safety, personal care, and sanitation. Our staff and each client’s safety, especially the cancer patients we serve, is our top priority. We are using extra precautions when entering a home or business to clean.”
