Flowery Branch, GA – April 22, 2024 – The Dusty Broom is proud to announce its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit dedicated to offering complimentary house cleaning services to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. This partnership holds immense significance for Sara Moon, owner and operator of The Dusty Broom, as she has personally endured the devastating loss of family members to cancer.
Moon shared, “I dreamed of launching a cleaning business with my late husband, ‘The Dusty Broom,’ as a tribute to his late mother, affectionately known as Dusty. Encouraged by my grandmother to pursue this dream, I found the perfect timing during her cancer treatments. Witnessing her resilience through radiation treatment deeply inspired me to extend help to others facing medically fragile conditions. Thus, The Dusty Broom was born from a blend of homage, encouragement, and a heartfelt commitment to support those in need.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, The Dusty Broom supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Flowery Branch, Dacula, Braselton, Auburn, Winder, Oakwood, Buford, Hoschton, and Jefferson.
