Maid to Order FL Continues to Clean House for Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
St. Petersburg, FL – March 29, 2023 – Since 2009, Maid to Order FL, Inc. has been partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization that provides free house cleaning to cancer patients in the United States and Canada. The owner and founder of Maid to Order FL, Joanne Braccio, has a personal connection to cancer, having lost her sister and brother to the disease. She is passionate about serving her community, particularly those in need, and has donated these cleanings in honor of her siblings.
“I lost my sister Lois and brother Robert to cancer and know all too well the physical and emotional struggles that a family faces with this disease,” said Braccio. “When cancer makes life at home difficult, we set out to provide relief to patients by offering free home cleanings.”
The company is committed to supporting two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge for cancer patients residing in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, and Indian Rocks Beach. Through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Maid to Order FL has supported 30 cancer patients with the gift of free house cleaning valued at more than $10,000. In the past two years, their fundraising efforts also generated an additional $2,100 for the cause.
The company’s green cleaning program is also extended to cancer households to ensure that they have the healthiest home possible at a time when they need it the most.
One of their patients, Deb Debo-Mochizuki, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Cancer treatment left me with too little energy for home cleaning chores. Maid to Order FL did dishes, vacuuming, dusting, and laundry. They were wonderful.”
