Local Company Raffles a $500 House Cleaning in Memory of Cancer Patient

CORNERSTONE CLEANING IS CLEANING FOR A REASON!
Fallston, Maryland – April 19, 2018 – For the past five years, Cornerstone Cleaning, a residential and commercial cleaning company since 2011, has been donating house cleaning to local women with cancer through their partnership with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit.
Beth Derickson, owner of Cornerstone Cleaning, is spreading awareness of the cause during National Cleaning For A Reason week, April 18–24. The company is conducting a raffle in memory of Carly Bastiansen, a former Cleaning For A Reason patient who recently lost her battle to pancreatic cancer. The winning ticket receives a house cleaning, valued up to $500. Tickets are selling for $5 a piece or 5 tickets for $20. All proceeds will be donated to Cleaning For A Reason to help more women with cancer receive the gift of a clean home. Raffle tickets can be purchased at 443-895-1915.
“This raffle is important to us because we started cleaning for Carly Bastiansen through Cleaning For A Reason,” stated Derickson. “Since partnering with the nonprofit in 2014, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to make a difference for 21 women with cancer. I am excited to spread awareness of the cause and to help more women in need in my community. We are thrilled to pay it forward in memory of Carly, a very special lady indeed.”
Cornerstone Cleaning has agreed to help women battling cancer by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Fallston. For more information about this company, go to
