Local Cleaning Company Celebrates One Year of Helping Cancer Patients

South Easton, MA – May 28, 2020 – Debbie Falasca Cleaning Services has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for the past year through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Since April 2019, Debbie Falasca Cleaning Services has already supported seven cancer patients with a total donated value of $1,000 in cleanings.
“Using my services to clean for cancer patients has been a great way to give back to my community,” reflected owner Debbie Falasca. “It has been a very emotional but rewarding experience. I have met some wonderful people that I stay in touch with. One of the patients is now even a client that I see regularly.”
Falasca emphasized, “I am a sole proprietor and operator business. During this COVID-19 crisis, I am certified by GBAC (Global Biorisk Advisory Council) to properly clean, sanitize, and disinfect homes and offices. As an essential business, I am committed to making a difference for my clients, especially local cancer patients.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Debbie Falasca Cleaning Services supports two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Easton and the surrounding community.
Said Falasca, “In this unprecedented coronavirus pandemic, I have put in place extra precautions to ensure the safety of everyone. When in a client’s home, I wear a face mask, gloves, and booties; wash hands between tasks; use EPA-registered disinfectants; and practice social distancing.”
