FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Dover, NJ – May 29, 2020 – WeCareWeClean, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owner Katia Santos is committed to making a difference for families in the community and wants to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“This cause is very personal to me,” said Santos. “My mom had cancer and my best friend has cancer now. I know the emotional and physical struggle of undergoing cancer treatment, while trying to also manage a home. We are excited to help local cancer patients and their families in their time of need. During this COVID-19 crisis, we want to help our clients and especially our cancer patients shelter-in-place in a clean, safe, healthy home. We are cleaning with an EPA and NSF approved disinfectant, while also wearing masks, gloves, and booties when in a home.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, WeCareWeClean supports two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Morris County and Sussex County.

I was referred to Katia through Cleaning for a Reason about cleaning my home as I am going through chemotherapy for cancer for six months. She called me and texted me to set up a time immediately. The 4 woman came yesterday around noon wearing masks and gloves. As I was in my room, I heard bottles being moved around in the refrigerator. One of the women was cleaning out my refrigerator and then proceeded to clean out my oven!! She washed down cabinets, too. They wiped down all windows, cleaned off windows sills, cleaned behind furniture and just went so far beyond my expectations of cleaning. I had to leave for chemotherapy at 1:45. When I arrived home at 6:30, the smell of bleach and cleanliness hit me as I walked in. It was a wonderful smell. After being in chemotherapy for 4 hours, it was wonderful to come home to an immaculate house. Katia and her women are angels. I look forward to next month when I have treatment again. It’s one less thing to worry about. Thank you, Katia!
