Back in 2005, HeavenlyScent Cleaning was committed to providing women in need with free house cleanings to support them during their cancer treatments. Now that their company has continued to grow and provide more residential services in Oldham County, HeavenlyScent is ready to continue providing dependable and detailed cleaning services for Cleaning For A Reason’s cause.
As a retired oncology nurse, owner Karen Leaton has witnessed how much cancer treatments can impact a women’s life. “Simple tasks, such as keeping the house in order, grocery shopping, and caring for children and self, become burdensome,” Leaton states. After working with cancer patients for years, Leaton knows that any help that can be offered creates a world of difference in their daily life. With the help of Cleaning For A Reason, she is “able to reconnect once again with women undergoing treatment for cancer, ironically through a simple concept turned into a tangible benefit… house cleaning.”
Cleaning For A Reason strives to aid women who are battling cancer by teaming up with cleaning services across the United States and Canada. Together, these two forces offer free maid services to meet the needs of women, and since 2006 have donated up to $4,000,000 worth of free services.
