Happy Home Cleaners Celebrates Three Years of Helping Cancer Patients

LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE DURING COVID-19
Lake Havasu City, AZ – October 8, 2020 – Happy Home Cleaners has been donating cleaning services to cancer patients for the past three years through its partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Owner Debbie Shreenan understands the importance of a clean environment when undergoing illness and is committed to making a difference for cancer patients and their families.
“Always having a passion for cleaning and serving the community, I started Happy Home Cleaners to do just that,” said Shreenan. “Fighting cancer is difficult enough; living with it is even tougher. There are many cancer charities in existence, but Cleaning for a Reason is one of the few that directly helps cancer patients when they need it the most. Having a clean home may not seem important, but it is a big deal to cancer patients who are immuno-compromised. We’re thrilled to focus on the home, so cancer patients can focus on their health.”
Since September of 2017, Happy Home Cleaners has helped seven cancer patients with total donated cleanings valued at $1,665. Shreenan is committed to helping even more cancer patients in the community. Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Happy Home Cleaners assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Lake Havasu City.
Said Kelli Wallin, Marketing Director for Happy Home Cleaners, “During this COVID-19 crisis, we are also following CDC guidelines to socially distance when in a home, to wear masks and gloves, and to use an EPA-approved disinfectant. Keeping everyone safe is our priority, especially the cancer patients we serve.”
