LOCAL HOUSEKEEPING COMPANY RAISING AWARNESS OF CANCER DURING FEBRUARY – NATIONAL CANCER PREVENTION MONTH
Metro Atlanta, Georgia–January 12, 2013- Green Leaf Housekeeping Services has been a partner of Cleaning For A Reason since July 2012 and in honor of National Cancer Prevention month, owner Sheila Edwards is launching a fundraising EVENT during the month of February. Their regular rate is $25 per hour with a 3 hour minimum. During February they will be offering the same service for $50 if the customer pledges the additional $25 as a tax-deductible donation to Cleaning for a Reason. The goal of this event is to raise cancer awareness and funds for Cleaning For A Reason, a non-profit foundation that helps women battling cancer.
Her reasons for partnering with Cleaning For A Reason is personal, “I had a dear friend who was struggling with cancer a few years ago”, according to Edwards. Witnessing her friends struggle prompted her to partner with the foundation.

Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,200,000 worth of services.
