Gingham Girls Cleaning Services Celebrates 20 Years of Cleaning for a Reason

Sheboygan, WI – August 4, 2026 – Gingham Girls Cleaning Service, Inc. is proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Cleaning for a Reason, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing complimentary residential cleanings to cancer patients.
“As a partner since 2007, Gingham Girls Cleaning Service has been part of the Cleaning for a Reason mission from its early years, helping bring comfort, support, and relief to local cancer patients and their families,” shared Karen Even, owner of Gingham Girl Cleaning Services.
Since joining Cleaning for a Reason, Gingham Girls Cleaning Service has supported 75 cancer patients with donated cleanings valued at $17,590. This ongoing commitment reflects the company’s dedication to making a meaningful difference through compassion, service, and community care.
“From the beginning, we believed in the mission of Cleaning for a Reason and the impact this program could have on people facing cancer,” said Even. “Cancer treatment can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and many patients have weakened immune systems, making a clean, healthy home more important than ever. Providing a safe, comfortable living environment is one less thing for families to worry about during an incredibly difficult time. We are honored to have been part of this mission for nearly two decades and grateful for every opportunity to serve our neighbors with compassion, care, and a helping hand.”
Through the partnership, Gingham Girls Cleaning Service provides up to two local cancer patients each month with two consecutive months of complimentary professional home cleaning services. These services are available to cancer patients residing in Elkhart Lake, Kohler, Oostburg, Plymouth, Sheboygan, and Sheboygan Falls, helping patients and their families focus on what matters most while navigating cancer treatment.
