Executive Maids Hosts Inaugural Cleaning for Cancer Week

LOCAL COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE OCT 11-15
Philadelphia, PA – October 6, 2021 – Executive Maids will be hosting their first annual Cleaning for Cancer Week during October 11-15, 2021, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During this special week, the company will be donating house cleaning services to five cancer patients. Executive Maids does this in partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that they have worked with since 2011. For the past 10 years, Executive Maids has supported 61 cancer patients with total donated cleanings valued at $35,330.
“I tell everyone I know about Cleaning for a Reason so they can tell someone battling cancer about this amazing nationwide free resource,” said Zapf. “As we all know from COVID-19, clean, safe, healthy environments have become more important than ever before. Our goal is to donate free home cleanings so that those who are battling cancer can focus on getting better and not worry about their home. And if the cancer patient lives nearby, within 10 miles of 19012, the patient can request for Executive Maids to come clean their home.”
Cleaning for a Reason connects with over 1,200 maid services throughout the United States and Canada, providing free house cleaning services to families battling cancer. Cleaning for a Reason is successful every year because of the people and companies that support it. There are four ways to participate with this important cause:
1. Nominate: If any cancer patient you know is currently receiving treatment, recovering from surgery, or in hospice care, and they live in the United States or Canada, please nominate them, with their permission, to have their house cleaned by a Cleaning for a Reason Partner. Any adult or child in active cancer treatment is eligible. You may fill out the application for yourself or on behalf of a friend or family member. 2. Partner: More cleaning partners are needed. Residential cleaning companies are instrumental in helping Cleaning for a Reason make a positive impact.
