Executive Maids Donates House Cleanings for Up to 7 Cancer Patients Each Month Since 2011

Philadelphia, PA, and Palm Beach County, FL – July 19, 2024 – Executive Maids, a premier house cleaning service with offices in Philadelphia, PA, and Palm Beach County, FL, is extending its heartfelt support to cancer patients in partnership with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason by donating house cleanings for up to seven patients each month. This compassionate initiative aims to provide much-needed relief and support to families during their challenging times.
“Cancer has touched everyone’s family, including mine,” shared Dawn Zapf, owner of Executive Maids. “I had a dear friend in her 80s who battled cancer in her pelvis. I watched her deteriorate as the disease spread through her body and eventually to her brain. She was a lively, wonderful, and helpful woman who touched the lives of so many people. I tended to her and cared for her until she was finally relieved of her pain and struggles. My heart breaks for all cancer patients, and this is why I am so passionate about donating free house cleanings to help cancer patients in a tangible way during their treatment.”
Continued Zapf, “We partnered with Cleaning for a Reason in 2011. In 2022, we donated the second highest amount of free cleanings to cancer patients in the United States and Canada. This program offers free cleanings to those battling cancer, and anyone—man, woman, or child—can apply at cleaningforareason.org.”
Executive Maids serves cancer patients in the Philadelphia, PA area, as well as Palm Beach County, FL. The service is entirely free, with no strings attached. Cleaning for a Reason vets cleaning businesses before allowing them to donate services. The 1,400 companies involved truly care about their patients and are dedicated to helping them.
Since partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, Executive Maids has made significant contributions:
- Executive Maids donates free house cleaning services to two cancer patients monthly for two consecutive months in Philadelphia and Levittown, PA, and Trenton, NJ. To date, they have served 100 patients in this region, donating $50,030 worth of cleanings.
- Since launching their second location in January 2022, Executive Maids has supported 71 additional cancer patients residing in Palm Beach County, FL, with donated cleanings valued at $27,300. This ongoing service benefits up to five cancer patients each month residing in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, and Boca Raton.
- For both regions, each cancer patient receives one free two-hour deep cleaning, followed by a free one-hour general cleaning a month later.
