CLEANING BY COLLEEN PARTNERS WITH A NONPROFIT FOUNDATION

Winnipeg, Manitoba – February 24, 2014 – Cleaning By Colleen is a small family-owned cleaning company that has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit foundation. The company is moving up in the industry and wants to change, “the way people feel about a clean home.”

Owner Colleen Dacey states that, “Cleaning For A Reason opens eyes that together we can work to make changes in the way people feel and in their lives.” When cancer strikes, women need assistance in their fight. Cancer makes the simple task of cleaning one’s home not so simple anymore. The company has agreed to clean two homes per month at no charge for four consecutive months for woman with cancer in need of assistance.

Cleaning For A Reason strives to aid women who are battling cancer by teaming up with cleaning services across the United States and Canada. Together, these two forces offer free maid services to meet the needs of women, and since 2006, have donated more than $4.2 million in free services. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason works with more than 1,000 residential cleaning services and continues to grow and gain support.
