SPRING IS HERE AND THE CLEANING AUTHORITY OF CHARLESTON IS GIVING BACK TO WOMEN BATTLING CANCER!
Charleston, South Carolina – March 20, 2013- Spring is here! It’s time to welcome the warmth of the sun, enjoy the longer days and make our homes sparkle. Women battling cancer lack the energy to take on some of the simplest tasks that will make their homes sparkle.
Recognizing the importance of a clean home, The Cleaning Authority of Charleston has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit organization who help women battling cancer. This cleaning service is no stranger to the toll cancer takes on women and their families. “We’ve seen firsthand how difficult it is to fight the disease while trying to maintain a sense of normalcy,” according to owner David Floyd, his mother-in-law is fighting liver cancer.
The Cleaning Authority of Charleston has agreed to clean the homes of two women one a month for four months free of charge so that they will have the opportunity to focus on their health and family.
“Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,400,000 worth of services.
