HUGHESTOWN, PA – March 4, 2013- A new residential and commercial cleaning company has partnered with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit organization that helps women battling cancer focus on getting well instead of focusing on cleaning their home. This business owner who believes in giving back knows first-hand the effects of cancer and its treatment has on an individual.
Owner, Tammy McCoy, a single mother of three is a cancer survivor! “I know the heartache and pain of this disease,” says McCoy, which is why she chose to partner with Cleaning For A Reason.
Sweep Me Clean will provide two women free house cleaning services once per month for four months as a way of providing a piece of mind and taking the stress off of these women and families. This will allow them to direct their energy on getting well.
Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,400,000 worth of services.
