Cancer Patients Supported by Veteran and Minority-Owned Maid Service

San Diego, CA – June 24, 2022 – For the past two years, Presto Cleaning Maid Service has been teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owner Tom Rummel and his staff take pride in going above and beyond to cater to each client’s specific needs and want to continue extending their reach to supporting cancer patients and their families during a difficult time.
“My experience with cleaning for cancer patients is that most are so happy with the services we have given them,” said Rummel. “And sometimes their happiness comes in the form of tears. Taking the time to express their gratitude warms my heart and fills my soul! Many of our patients are completely unable to clean their homes, and to support them in their time of need enriches our lives. Cleaning for a Reason has recognized our company as a 2021 Top 100 Cleaning Partner for most patients served.”
Since July of 2020, Presto Cleaning Maid Service has helped a total of 21 cancer patients with donated house cleanings valued at $6,152. In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Presto Cleaning Maid Service donates cleanings year-round by supporting three homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in central San Diego.
