Local ecomaids Donates Non-Toxic House Cleaning for Cancer Patients

ECOMAIDS OF NORTH RALEIGH-MIDTOWN-WAKE FOREST MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Raleigh, NC – June 23, 2022 – Just launched in June 2022, ecomaids of North Raleigh-Midtown-Wake Forest has already teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit serving cancer patients through free home cleanings. Owners Eric and Heather Leser are committed to making a difference for families in the community and want to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“We were immediately drawn to Cleaning for a Reason,” said co-owner Eric Leser. “Cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery pose a real challenge to navigate from not only for the patient’s health, but also for the family’s day-to-day life. Donated cleanings are one small way to give back to a patient and their family, by providing one less thing to worry about.”
“Having three members in our immediate family diagnosed with various types of cancer, we know firsthand the toll it takes and the burdens imposed. Many people don’t realize that with different forms of cancer and treatments, doing everyday tasks can be difficult long after the diagnosis. It’s critical to find ways to help people in our community and to find ways for our team to give back.”
Through partnership with the nonprofit, this ecomaids franchise assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Creedmoor, and Youngsville.
