Melville, NY – February 23, 2021 – His & Hers Cleaning Solutions, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owners Taquann Jackson and Jayda Baker are committed to making a difference for families in the community and want to extend their reach to helping cancer patients.
“Our company culture is to give back to the community,” said Jayda Baker. “The importance of a clean and safe home environment cannot be overstated for cancer patients. We hope to make a difference for these individuals who are in the fight of their lives. While we focus on their homes, our hope is that they can focus on their health and their families.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, His & Hers Cleaning Solutions supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service for cancer patients residing in Suffolk and Nassau Counties.
Taquann Jackson emphasized, “During this COVID-19 crisis, we have performed over $7,000 in free home disinfectant cleanings for those who could not afford it, but were in dire need. We have also donated over 1,000 masks and 50 gallons of disinfectant to police departments, schools, churches, and hospitals. Disease outbreak is an extremely serious situation and we understand that the health and safety of our employees, clients, and community are on the line. We are committed to doing our part to provide clean, safe, and healthy environments for all, especially the cancer patients we serve.”
