NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24
Overland Park, KS – April 22, 2020 – Two Maids & A Mop of Overland Park has teamed up with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason to donate home cleanings to local cancer patients in need. Owner Jim Torcivia wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during National Cleaning for a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer receive the gift of a clean home.
Torcivia said, “We are proud to partner with Cleaning for a Reason as it is one way to give back to the community and really help someone in need. During this COVID-19 crisis, we all understand that a truly clean home is a healthy home for healing and peace of mind. No one needs this more than cancer patients. All of our maids are properly trained to clean, sanitize, and disinfect and are wearing masks and gloves for everyone’s safety. We also practice social distancing when in the home.”

Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Two Maids & A Mop of Overland Park assists cancer patients by cleaning two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Overland Park, Shawnee, Lanexa, Gardner, Belten, Grandview, Prairie Village, and Leawood.
