Butlers in the Manor Remains Committed to Supporting Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 8, 2023 – For the past four years, Butlers in the Manor has been providing free home cleaning services to local cancer patients through its partnership with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. During his own battle with cancer, owner Andrew Durning experienced firsthand the challenges of maintaining a clean home while undergoing treatment.
“I’ve been there, trying to keep everything together while dealing with cancer,” said Durning. “I know how important it is to have support and a clean environment during such tough times. When learning about this nonprofit, I was so happy we could help people just like me. We’re providing not only a clean, healthy home, but also a source of comfort and relief for those affected by cancer. Giving back when it really matters is what makes me happy and fulfilled.”
Since 2019, Butlers in the Manor has supported 14 cancer patients with a total donated value of $4,179 in cleanings. Through its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, the company cleans two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This ongoing service is available to cancer patients residing in Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Victoria Park, Las Olas, Rio Vista, Oakland Park, Poinsettia Heights, and Palm Aire.
In addition to providing free home cleaning services, Butlers in the Manor is also committed to raising awareness about Cleaning for a Reason and its mission. The company will have a booth at this year’s Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival on June 17, featuring the nonprofit’s signature pink balloons at the booth’s entrance.
“Visitors can learn more about how Butlers in the Manor and Cleaning for a Reason are helping cancer patients in the community,” said Durning. “It’s important for us to spread awareness about this cause and show our support to the community.”
