Briley Cleaning Service Scrubs Away Cancer Patients’ Worries

Mena, AR – July 30, 2024 – Briley Cleaning Service joined forces with Cleaning for a Reason, the nonprofit organization providing free house cleaning to cancer patients undergoing treatment, surgery, or in hospice care. Owner Amanda Briley’s experience with loss from cancer fuels her passion for supporting cancer patients and their families through donations of cleaning services and the application of her expertise.
Shared Briley, “In 2024, I lost my mom to stage 4 lung cancer. Her journey with treatments, doctor appointments, and the sickness that came with her cancer took a tremendous toll on her and our family. We experienced firsthand the emotional and physical strain that cancer imposes on patients and their loved ones. Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason allows me to honor my mother, who fought and smiled valiantly through her battle with cancer. The value of a clean home for cancer patients cannot be overstated. It offers them a sense of normalcy, reduces stress, and creates a healthier living environment. By providing cleaning services, we help alleviate one of the many burdens they face, allowing them to focus on their health and well-being.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Briley Cleaning Service supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Mena and the surrounding area, within a radius of 30 miles.
