Amy’s Green Cleaning Donating Non-Toxic Services to Cancer Patients

Nacoochee, GA – January 4, 2022 – Amy’s Green Cleaning, Inc. has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owners Amy and Rhydon Mays have a passion for changing lives one home at a time and are eager to do exactly that for cancer patients.
“I cleaned for a good friend of mine that was undergoing cancer treatment,” said owner Amy Mays. “I know firsthand the impact it had on her life. She had tears in her eyes every time I finished because she was so grateful for my help. My friend lost her battle with cancer. As I begin this journey with Cleaning for a Reason, I will always have my friend close to my heart knowing I am helping out someone in my community to focus on getting well.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Amy’s Green Cleaning supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in White County, Habersham County, and Rabun County.
Said co-owner Rhydon Mays, “We provide a non-toxic green cleaning that I know will result in a clean, safe, healthy home for cancer patients and their families. We are thrilled to make a difference in this way and to be helping those who truly need it the most.”

Owners Rhydon and Amy May started Amy’s Green Cleaning in 2007 when the economy was struggling. Rhydon grew up in the janitorial service and Amy was cleaning homes modestly in the area as well as raising their three sons.
