Shiny Go Clean Provides Relief to Families Facing Cancer

Madison, WI – March 18, 2026 – Shiny Go Clean has joined forces with the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason to provide free professional home cleanings to cancer patients. The partnership delivers practical help to families during a challenging time, easing the burden of household chores so patients can focus on their health and recovery.
Owner Rohan Aurora is deeply committed to supporting the local community through this effort.
“When someone is fighting cancer, the last thing they should have to worry about is cleaning their home,” said Aurora. “The average person spends about seven hours a week cleaning, which is nearly 25 hours a month. For someone going through treatment, that time and energy can feel impossible to find.”
“If we can take that burden off a family and give them a clean, calm, healthy space during such a difficult season, that’s meaningful support. As part of the partnership, Shiny Go Clean will donate cleanings for two cancer patients each month, providing two consecutive months of free professional house cleaning. The donated services will benefit families in Madison and surrounding communities, including Middleton, Fitchburg, Verona, Sun Prairie, Monona, Waunakee, Cottage Grove, and McFarland.
